At Farrauto Berman Slater & Michaeli, we believe in transparency in all aspects of our representation, including our fees. Initial consultations are billed based on the type of meeting you choose. If we decide to work together after your initial consultation, legal work is billed on an hourly basis at the rate for the attorney performing the work.

Retainers:

Retainers vary based upon the specific details of your case. Below are typical retainers based upon case-type:

• Contested Divorces Without Children: $7,000-$15,000+
• Contested Divorces With Children: $12,000 - $25,000+
• Family Court Orders of Protection: $7,000-$12,500+
• Family Court Support Matters: $6,000-$10,000+
• Family Court Custody Matters: $12,000-$25,000+

Uncontested Divorces, Prenuptial Agreements and Estate matters may have options for flat fees at lower price-points.
